Diagnostics
EQO is the only company capable of offering eRNA diagnostic solutions through the use of an automated collection system. EQO Dx CALYPSO autonomous samplers are installed to collect and preserve biological material and identify targeted live organisms of interest at the single molecule level.
Detection
EQO scientist extract, preserve, catalogue, and analyze genetic information to determine the stage of infestation. EQO then provides the customer with actionable information needed to efficiently treat a population of zebra mussels, whether it's a newly established population or an older infestation.
Monitoring
EQO automated collection system can be semi-permanently installed onsite to monitor population activity. Effective management of invasive species infestation requires population activity information. This can only be determined through consistent monitoring, allowing for treatment optimization and quality control.
Treatment
EQO is developing a biotherapeutic infestation treatment funded by the National Science Foundation and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The product will be available for field research and demonstration studies starting Spring 2021. The product has limited to no off-target effects with high efficiency.
